IF YOU ARE IN LINE AS A TOP LEADER of a synagogue, Jewish agency, day school or other Jewish organization in our community, the ACHARAI Fellows Program will serve you and your organization well.
FELLOWS COME TOGETHER over a 10-month period for interactive classes to grow their understanding of leadership theory through a Jewish lens.
• Participate in transformative leadership coaching
• Discover inspirational Jewish texts
• Network with top leaders in our Jewish community
• Learn the diverse challenges of today’s Jewish leaders
Every other year, a new cohort begins. Highly qualified leaders are selected (maximum of 22) via a competitive application process. Each applicant needs to submit an application, along with being nominated by their sponsoring organization. The tuition of the Fellows Program is $1,000 – organizations may choose to share the obligation with the nominee. In addition, there will be a $250 Program Fee that will cover all meals and class materials. Scholarships are available. For more information contact Beth H. Gansky, Executive Director.
“The ACHARAI Fellows Program (AFP) gave me the opportunity to talk about real-time issues and best practices with a cohort of presidents who had similar experiences. This resulted in a “safe space” where challenges and concerns were shared and solutions developed in a practical and useful way. The knowledge and expertise of our facilitator set the tone for useful, meaningful sessions. AFP has helped me grow my leadership skills and has provided me with invaluable relationships with other leaders in our community.”
Randi Buergenthal, Class V
The next ACHARAI Cohort will begin in September 2020!
Applications will be available on January 30, 2020 and acceptances will be sent out on May 1, 2020.
