It’s simple. You are a leader. And, you are passionate about the organization that you serve. Today, leaders in the Jewish community face big challenges—from motivating and empowering boards to building a sustainable vision for today and tomorrow. Not to mention raising the funds that is necessary for a viable future.
Leadership is hard work. It takes vision, passion and unparalleled skills.
ACHARAI Fellows Program
The ACHARAI Fellows Program (AFP) is the organization’s flagship offering – a 14 month experience of monthly classes, retreats, individualized leadership coaching, and an intensive peer learning component for 20 leaders from a variety of Jewish backgrounds. The AFP provides top volunteer leaders of synagogues, Jewish agencies, day schools and other Jewish organizations opportunities for personal growth through intensive training of leadership skills integrated with Jewish values, text, and knowledge. The success of ACHARAI is in the teaching of leadership “through a Jewish lens.”
Fellows will form a cadre of leaders prepared to work individually and collaboratively to strengthen Baltimore’s Jewish community as they take leadership roles in their organizations. The AFP is designed for leaders who will assume their organizations’ top volunteer positions within three years.
